Council 6392 Erects Crosses For Respect Life Sunday
In honor of Respect Life Sunday, Knights of Columbus Father McGivney Council No. 6392 worked with the St. Leo the Great parish “Ignite” Youth Ministry to create a cross display honoring the souls of aborted fetuses. The display consists of 60 small crosses and one large cross. Each of the small crosses represent one million aborted fetuses since the issuance of the Roe v. Wade ruling.
The display was created to illustrate to impact of legalized abortions upon human life. The display was constructed along the Church’s front lawn (adjacent to County Rt. 520).
Father McGivney Council No. 6392 constructed the crosses and worked with the “Ignite” Youth Ministry to paint the crosses on Saturday October 6th. Then working with the Ignite youth group the display was set up on Respect Life Sunday, October 7th.
