The New Jersey Knights of Columbus (NJKofC) is one of the most active state jurisdictions of the worldwide Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal service organization founded in 1882 by Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut. In New Jersey, the order has grown into a strong network of councils dedicated to living out the four guiding principles of the Knights of Columbus: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.
