Blessing of the Nativity Creche at NJ Statehouse

Saturday, December 14, 2019

The annual Blessing of the Nativity Crèche will take place on the Grounds of the NJ State House on Saturday,  December 14, 2019 @  10:00 am.

The attached flyer contains all of the relevant information concerning this event.

This year, under the direction of Brother Knight Jerry Iacona, a new crèche has been built and several of the statues have been replaced.  This crèche will remain on display in front of the State House until mid January.

Since NJ is only one of a handful of States that allows such a display on State House grounds it is important that we come together as Knights as a proclamation of our faith in support of the Crèche Blessing.

The program will last about 30 - 45 minutes and family and friends are welcome to attend.

As a side note there are several other "attractions" in a close proximity to the State House which families can visit after the Crèche Blessing Ceremony.  These include:  WWII Memorial and display across the street; Old Barracks Museum; State Museum and Planetarium.
