The Culture of Life Program wants to recognize Brother Knights who have shown an exemplary dedication to life by participating in at least five (5) Pro-Life activities during the current Colombian Year. Patterned after the Texas State Council’s “Pro-Life ACE Wings Program,” such individuals will be awarded with a set of “Wings for Life” at the Convention in May by State Deputy Andy Lipenta and Culture of Life Program Director Steve Richardson.
“Our Holy Father has called us to be Pro Life, from conception to natural death. The Pro Life movement needs witnesses to act through personal involvement and daily actions. We might call these Knights “Pro Life Warriors”. A Pro Life Warrior participates in Pro Life Masses, 40 Days for Life, Pro Life Rosaries, Sidewalk Counseling, March for Life, Pro Life Walks, doing fund raisers for Ultrasound machines, volunteering at a Pregnancy Care Center or a Home for Mothers, etc. All of these activities and many more qualify for the Wings for Life Award. What better way to publically announce that you are Pro Life than to wear a set of Pro Life Wings?”
If you think that a member of your council is deserving of this award, please fill out the form at this LINK and submit it to the State Council by April 15, 2016. We do not do what we do for recognition, but it sure is nice to receive it!
