 The Knights of Columbus Councils in the Archdiocese of Newark (Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union counties) held their annual Pride in our Priest & Religious Dinner on May 28th as a way of appreciation to all the men and women in religious life. The dinner was held at the Fiesta in Woodridge New Jersey and over four hundred priests, nuns, those in religious life, Knights and their families were in attendance. At the dinner, State Deputy Thomas Ciborski and State Secretary Herbert Meyer presented The Most Reverend Archbishop John J. Myers a check in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) raised from the local Councils during the Drive for those with Intellectual Disabilities which will go to Catholic Charities.
