03/06Polar Bear Plunge

PSD Tom Ciborski will lead a 21 person contingent into the icy water of the Atlantic Ocean for the annual Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Hts. They will enter the Ocean at 1 p.m. off the boardwalk in Seaside, followed by a warming lunch provided by Councils 8415 and 7926.

The plunge was rescheduled from Feb 27 due to inclement weather

03/06Newark ArchDiocese Free Throw Contest

The has been rescheduled due to the recent snowstorm. it will now be held Saturday, March 6, at Holy Trinity School Gymnasium, 43 Maple Ave, Hackensack, NJ Parking is available in the lot across from the Church on Pangborne Place. The scheduled times remain the same. All contestants MUST bring their birth certificate with them.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Trenton Catholic Academy, located on Leonard Street in Hamilton

03/08Ocean County Chapter Meeting

The Ocean County Chapter will meet Monday, March 8, 2010 at St Monica Council 11529, located at 679 W. Veteran's Hwy, Jackson. The meeting will begin at 8p.m.

03/08Monmouth County Chapter Meeting

The Monmouth County Chapter will meet Monday, March 8, 2010.  The meeting will begin at 8p.m. at Vincent T. Lombardi Council 6552, 872 Leonardville Road, Leonardo.

03/10Catholic Men's Conference

Catholic Men's Conference, "Champions of Faith", will be on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Seton Hall University.

03/15Reports Due

The Knight of the Month, Family of the Month, and the Monthly Council Activities Reports as well as the District Deputy monthly reports are due at the State Council Office on the 15th of each month.

03/17Bergen Chapter

The Bergen Chapter will meet Wednesday, March 17, 2010. For meeting location and starting time, check the Chapter website, www.bergenchapterkofc.org

03/19Chapter 4 Meeting

Chapter 4 will meet on Friday, March 19, 2010 at St. Elizabeth, St. Brigid Council 11386 in Peapack. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m.

03/20Free Throw Tournament - State Finals

The New Jersey Free Throw Tournament State Championship Round has been scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2010, at the Parish Center of Our Lady of Victory Parish, Msgr. Dalton Hall, Sayreville.

Contestants will all use the same basketballs, supplied by the State Council. Please do not bring your Childs basketball into the gym.

The times for registration and shooting are below. NO contestant will be permitted to shoot after his/her age group has concluded their competition, there can be no exceptions.

Please come early or stay later to cheer for the competitors in other age groups.

03/20Ocean County St Patrick's Day Parade

The annual Ocean County St. Patricks Day Parade will be held Saturday, March 20.  The parade will march up the Boulevard in Seaside Hts. The parade was postponed 1 week due to inclement weather.

The Councils, Assembly's and Color Corps Membersn will line up on "N" Street, on the Ocean Side. All persons marching are asked to be there by 11:30 p.m.

There will be a Mass before the parade at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Seaside Hts. Color Corps is asked to be at the Church by 9:30 a.m.

03/20Alumni DInner

On Saturday, March 20, 2010, State Secretary Wayne McCormack will be honored at his Alma Mater, Cardinal McCarrick High School, for the work he has done for the school.

The Trenton Diocesan Spelling Bee will be held Sunday, March 21, 2010. The Spelling Bee will begin at 2 p.m. at Msgr John F. Baldwin Council 836, located at 1065 Cedar Bridge Road, Brick.
