Polar Bear Plunge ~ Seaside Hts ~ February 25, 2012
The 2012 Polar Bear Plunge will be held on Saturday, February 25. Once again, the NJKofC Polar Penguins, led by State Deputy Dan Rossi and Team Captain PSD Tom Ciborski, will be one of the groups plunging for Special Olympics.
Last year, more than 5,000 people participated in he plunge. In the past 2 years, the NJKofC Polar Penguins have raised almost $25,000, from this plunge.
The NJ Knights feel very strongly about helping the kids with their training and making sure they have all they need to traing and compete properly, and the plunge is a great way to raise funds to help them.
Charity Dinner Honoring Bill Kennedy~ Sunday, March 4, 2012
Chapter 4, Metuchen Diocese, is hosting a Charity Dinner honoring the late William Kennedy, PSD. Bill served as State Deputy in 2002
Tickets are $50 per person, and must be ordered by February 24, 2012, seating is limited. Contact Ramon Alayon via E-MAIL for information as soon as possible.
The funds raised by this dinner will be donated to the Grain of Wheat Foundation, a Charity created by Bills widow, Bridget, to honor Bill's life.
The Dinner will be held at the St John Neumann Banquet Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway, from 2 - 6 p.m.
